Re: Steps 3+4 Project Restart
Fans now allowed in it seems at Step 3 and below, effective immediately. How does this affect friendlies?
Interesting that they have only ‘clarified’ that everything below Step 2 is classed as non-elite, which means that fans have been kept out of games for no reason at all from Step 3 downwards.

However, there does seem to be some debate about the exact conditions of this - so FA clarification / confirmation is awaited.

It states about the 1st of October (a return for fans) and that pilots will be done, (that's scenario 1 out the window)Formic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:01 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53817206

Pilots are being done for fans to return to non league football, (hopefully pilots will be successful so then fans can return to football shortly after 1st of October, (it most likely will be scenario 2 then) will there be max number for fans?
If not successful then f knows what will happen.

Stourbridge have made a statement suggesting there is a need to wait for something official - https://www.stourbridgefc.com/news/offi ... 59481.html
Hopefully the FA statement expected today will clarify what is permitted and how it might happen.

The 1st. October date refers to elite sport ( in the case of football, National League and above,) so would not apply to our level.train wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:56 pmIt states about the 1st of October (a return for fans) and that pilots will be done, (that's scenario 1 out the window)Formic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:01 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53817206

There will however need to be a lot of thought and planning done by individual clubs in order to comply with the rules as the logistics of every ground will be different.

The link at the bottom of that article links to a more comprehensive document, which in turn shows the actual numbers that can be permitted at Step 3 grounds (Appendix C) - subject to all of the other constraints.

Re: Steps 3+4 Project Restart
The 600 limit on crowds should not effect us until we reach 4th qual round of FA Cup, unless we draw K*ttering in earlier round. But Bromsgrove, Tamworth and Stourbridge all averaged over 600 so may take a financial hit. I wonder how many of our 450 average will feel ready to return in September.?
