What was really encouraging was the fact that the starting eleven was 9 from last season.

Yep hold my hands up , I was one of my those which thought our attack was too light weight and needed at least one big .—.. lad to hold up and course problems. But maybe you don’t need any of that.....? Just young hungry lads with technical abilities which will fight to the very last minute.
Just play like you did on Tuesday night lads and let’s see what happens ay , no pressure

Not many people get closer with the attendance than they do with the score

I wasn't expecting us to get off to such a good start, I thought Redditch were aiming to get promoted was it last season when they got a new pitch and the ex Wallsall striker as manager, thought i even read that they had splashed some cash.
Only the first game of the season but i expected a much tougher game than that!
In a league where we are not nailed on with expectancy to win each game - the lads will obviously have a different mindset, now they are able to go out and enjoy the challenge of trying to get the better of teams who are more experienced at this level.
Looking forward to Tuesday evening

- Play it out from the back.
- 1 up front.
- Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

Spot on there, (mate) well impressive with the 5-2 yesterday, let's go to Biggleswade and win.TheIncognitoKid wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 9:58 pmNot many people get closer with the attendance than they do with the score

Great start to the season, some well taken goals and plenty of effort. If I had to score the players it'D be 9s all round. The Redditch free kick goal was also superb and roundly clapped as well. I'D just say to the defence don't over play it and Blaize just needs to time his clearances a bit better but he was so impressive overall.
I'D be happy with one point at Biggleswade to be honest, that's going to be a tough test, but we go with confidence.
