[ Sat 10th Feb ] v Arlesey Town, KO 3pm ESE AWAY
Re: [ Sat 10th Feb ] v Arlesey Town, KO 3pm ESE AWAY
Suggested pub for tomorrow from my Arlesey mate, The True Briton 47 Hospital Rd, not far from the ground and reliably informed the beer is good.
Reason I’m recommending a pub is having been at the football club recently, the beer was average, the service was below average and the hospitality was none existent.

Any news of a pitch inspection? It's been raining for a good couple of hours now

Having seen what they played on 2 weeks ago v H&Y + it’s us visiting on a Saturday I would assume it’s on. Not been to heavy and we have had 4 dry days.TheIncognitoKid wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 12:32 pm Any news of a pitch inspection? It's been raining for a good couple of hours now

Messy, scrappy and a few poor decisions made on the pitch, but I’d take 15 more of those, tick a game off and go home with the points. Sometimes we just need to keep our shape, do the simple things and the rest will fall into place.

Totally agree we really looked out of sorts and sat back. Gyasi was immense and won the game for us, and another game of Luke's ban ticked off.

Three more points especially important as other contenders all won except CSP who are now a long way off the pack if you take into account games in hand.
Diamonds now have best defensive record in England as Wigan shipped three today v Southend.
A draw tomorrow between Dunstable and Hartley would do nicely thank you. I expect a full report on the match from Brownie tomorrow evening!!

19 conceded. Three behind us but don't play again until 24th Feb v Chelsea.
