What are the chances for this game to go ahead? I am currently in Eastbourne where it has been very wet, now it is sunny.
Watching news bulletins it does not look very good in Northants/Beds.

Last season was the only time in our short history that we were able to complete both Boxing day and New Years Day fixtures.

Rain forecast for Bedford tomorrow but then weekend dry, the Eagles pitch does drain very well and they don’t suffer from many postponements, unless we get a lot of rain Monday morning I would expect the game to go ahead. And given the likely big crowd I am sure they will be making every effort to ensure it does.

I haven't been to a match at Bedford.
Being out of town what is the parking like?
I assume there will be a big attendance as Bedford are the second best supported team in the division.

Last time I went they had a car park, think it was a quid to park. There's also a lay-by outside the ground, rough parking, maybe a few deep puddles.
No sure if you can park on the main road, verges. I personally wouldn't.

Parking is fine, they have a decent size car park next to the ground & have an arrangement with the abattoir next door and use that as well, they will charge you a £1 though, given it’s DH that may be £2 as it’s us. If you don’t want to pay get there early as The is a large lay-by as you turn into the ground.

Plenty of rain in Bedford for the past 30 minutes - I hope the pitch can take it.

And it did. It wasn't a game for the purists, but a great battling "dig it out" win. Well done lads.

Luke Fairlamb clearly deserved MoM today - he was a constant threat. Special mention to Jack Ashton for coping so well with the tough conditions, and Joe Curtis had one of his best games for us. The midfield central trio really does pick itself these days, with Jack Westbrook an excellent addition. It was good to see another clean sheet - especially given we were without Liam Dolman,
