Been out in Birmingham all evening reporting. All just people who wanted some free stuff, or to hang out with their mates somewhere and have a 'laugh', which they were doing while breaking other people's property.

From what I can gather it started off as a small protest against the police for the shooting of the man in Tottenham the other day... then yobs joined in...then the building was set on fire.. then looting started.. then people saw on TV that people were making away with 1000's of £ worth of electrical equipment/clothes and fancied a bit for themselves.

All this shit for a pair of new trainers or a shit tv which probably won't even make it home without a scratch.

Start poppin' a few cap's in asses and watch it die down.

Time for UK law to get tough. If the police cant cope then bring in the army, then strengthen the police so they can stamp out this sort of idiocy.

Too much nicely nicely for too long.

Too much greed, too little respect.

Time for robust policing, and severe punishment.

The primary job of a government is to protect its law abiding citizens.

Time to stop letting these scumbags off with a slap on the wrist.
