Much as I love to see men in uniform, I'd be terrified if that was going on outside my house. I hope your colleagues stay safe Dazzler!

What's going on in London/Birmingham is frankly disgusting. Just yobs looking to cause trouble and loot. The England game on wednesday must be called off IMO. Where are the police when you need them?

How on earth do the police/army/government stop this?

I'm hearing this is set to spread all over the country. Places like Leeds, Nottingham and Sheffield being mentioned.

There are probably very few genuine reasons. Looking at the pictures and videos on television, it looks like the low-lifes of society just taking the chance to smash things up, rob things, and get away with it.

From what I can see, awful parenting and plenty of 15 year olds who want new trainers. The fact that this is still blamed by some...Campbell, Livingstone...on austerity cuts sums up the state of this country - no-one ever takes responsibility (at least, those that do are just the innocent bystanders, trying to lead normal lives, who are powerless to stop these events)
