The excellent Needham Market programme had a list of admission prices for the clubs in the League, which highlighted that Kings Lynn charge the most (£13), with only the Poppies charging £12, and most clubs charging £10 (Tamworth do charge £2 extra for a seat on top of an £11 terrace price).

Their reduction of just £2 for concessions is also less generous than all the other clubs with the exception of Biggleswade who are similarly frugal.

I'm not sure how many of you will have been to King's Lynn before, but last time I was there they had a weird arrangement for this level whereby you had to buy your tickets from a ticket office outside the ground before entering, rather than handing over cash at the turnstile.

I don't remember having a major problem but if you're likely to get there close to 3pm or are likely to arrive with lots of others (on the coach for example) it might be worth noting that you can actually buy tickets online and print them off yourself at home to save the hassle of queuing.

It looks like even their own staff are embarrassed by the prices they charge, judging by that online ticketing page, where it states tickets are available "from £8" - which is actually the price for juniors / students.

The refund policy is a bit tricky to find, but it states:
"What happens if I have purchased tickets, the match date changes and I can't make the new date?

Tickets are non refundable, unfortunately.

Can I get a refund if I buy a ticket but I decide not to use it?

Tickets are not refundable, unfortunately

The concession price at Kings Lynn, K*ttering and Tamworth is more or equal to the full price at every other ground in our league. Indicative of the fact these three clubs consider themselves playing beneath their perceived true level. :nono:

I'd say that's not the spirit of the Consumer Rights Act

The Poppies website seems to suggest they have lowered prices to £10 adults / £6 concessions. Tamworth only charge £7 for concessions if they don't want to sit in the stands - it's King Lynn that seem well out of step.

5-1 win for Lynn last night away to the only team to have beaten the lot up the road. Some odd results Royston beat St Neots 5-0 who may have their minds on Saturday, Needham won, and a few close games highlighting what we already knew about this league. St Ives involved in another goal fest, loosing 1-0 at home to The Waders who remain unbeaten, not sure how but they are. Oh how we must all be looking forward to The Trophy game.
