Bedford under new ownership had a “pay what you want day” to celebrate Howell going. It worked 438 there which is well over double their average gate.

Could someone please give me a good kicking........I am beginning to feel sorry for Moneyfields!! :nono:

Quite a turnaround for CSP from 0-2 to a 3-2 win.

Shame poor old Ploppies lost 4-3 at Royston.

Didn’t look out your window??? :cheesy:

An already saturated pitch plus rain - hardly surprising! I travelled over from bedford expecting it to be called off - I was surprised to even hear it was on in the first place!

Got as far as Newton Rd then thought it was a bit quiet!

I don't feel at all sorry for Moneyfields though!

My only gripe is that there was no mention of the game possibly being in doubt on Twitter. I appreciate that a message like that could impact on attendance but it could also have saved some frustrations.

I shot over to St Neots to see them play against Chesham. Nabil was keeping the bench nice and warm, being kept out of the side by a really impressive 17-year-old Cobblers loanee called Lewis Irwin who is banging them in for the Saints. We should keep him on our radar in case an opportunity arises.

Jefferson Louis played for Chesham. He held the ball up very well but that was about it.

Didn't think I needed to TBH, there was no mention on here or Twitter that the game was in any doubt yesterday or this morning (as BR said).
