Diamonds Hat Tricks
I reckon Ryan Robbins hat trick on Tuesday was the best I've seen from an AFC Diamonds player. I think we've had over a dozen different players netting 3 in a game (Ryan Robbins (2), Darryl Smith, Nabil Shariff (2), Tom Lorraine, Andy Hall (2), Tom Liversedge, Declan Rogers, Liam Dolman, Jason Turner, Fazel Koriya (2), Russ Dunkley, Alfie Taylor and Jake Newman), but I think you'd need to go back to the RDFC days to find a better one. That would perhaps be Onandi Lowe at Mansfield?

Re: Diamonds Hat Tricks
Lowe’s first at Mansfield was excellent, the 2nd and 3rd were fairly routine, certainly for a player of his calibre. Not sure I’ve enjoyed a hat-trick more than that one though, even if I was only 12!
As I said on another thread, if I’ve seen a better hat-trick than Ryan’s yesterday then I can’t remember it.

They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Re: Diamonds Hat Tricks
Having not being at the game, I had to watch the goals via the highlights. As great as the highlights are, I don't think they ever do the goals justice. I read from Twitter and via text how brilliant the third goal was, but watching it back it looks like a good strike but not superb. Same happened when I watched back gilly's overhead and Ross oultons long ranger. You definitely have to be there to witness the proper quality of these strikes.

Lowe's hat-trick was stunning but all things considered Sharp's hat-trick is my favorite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NJofUeRW9A he was playing in a pretty poor team and his hat-trick all but confirmed our survival.
Watching Robbins hat-trick again each goal was quality, think the 2nd & 3rd goals are definitely goal of the season contenders

Totally agree that the highlights dont do Robbins hatrick any justice. Unbelievable trick imo. Re: Diamonds Hat Tricks
Unfortunately I wasn't at the match and agree that Ryan’s last goal appears to be nearer the edge of the penalty area than described on Radio Diamonds but it is probably a case of the camera angle from the old grandstand foreshortening the distance.
Nevertheless, Ryan is providing to be an valuable asset to our squad and is a proven goal scorer as I stated when he was signed. Whilst Nabil’s performances cannot be understated our play when he was with us during September and October was a tad predictable and Ryan has formed an excellent strike partnership with Tom Lorraine with both finding the net on a regular basis. With Ben Diamond patiently waiting for a regular start the prospects for an entertaining second half to the season are very exciting and I confidently expect larger crowds at Hayden Road over the next few months.
