We will start this game in second place if Dunstable win their lunch time kick off v Thame. But Thame are in good form recently. Moneyfields also early kick off v Fleet. For us this will be a tough local derby and would not be surprised if Jake scores! Hopefully just a consolation goal. If we can keep a clean sheet beyond 85 mins then we will create new club record of minutes without conceding of 625 mins.

Game on, after 11:30am Inspection. A bit sticky, but standing water now gone and groundsman sanded in a few places.

If I've seen a better hat-trick than that before then I can't remember it. The first was good, the second was very good and the third was just exceptional! Robbins can drift in and out of games at times but he was pretty much unplayable today.

Robbins was always going to get the MOM given he scored 3 but Luke Fairlamb is something else. I think we need to enjoy every moment he's at Diamonds because any higher level scouts watching our games are going to be filing some comprehensive reports on that young man! Combining unbelievable work rate with brilliant skill - not something you often see at this level. Westbrook was also outstanding in the middle :clapping:

Some handy points dropped by Beaconsfield today and the table is starting to look very good. Our next 5 games are all against teams in the bottom half.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Thought the team as a whole was exceptional today. Didn't drop their heads one bit when they scored. Robbins was fantastic and if that 40-yarder went in it would've been the icing on the cake! Fairlamb was also immense, cause all sorts of problems and went past their players like they weren't there. Merry Christmas :drinks:

I thought the first half was as powerful a performance as I've ever seen a Diamonds team play pre or post merger. The midfield is so dynamic both on and off the ball and our one touch movement was superb. Robbo wasn't really in the game until he scored then BOOM, he exploded onto the front foot and almost single handedly took Kempston apart.
It's a shame the floodlight issue seemed to kill the game a little second half, but great teams dig in and close out the game which we did really well.

always the way when you've won the first half by a couple of goals, the second half is never the same. they couldn't handle robbins power.
