I see that AFC Dunstable played last night and beat Kempston Rovers 2-1 to join us on 41 points although we have 2 games in hand on them with a better goal difference. Jake Newman scored Kempston’s goal.

Why are postponed games rearranged to hastily for January when weather is just as likely to be bad and if the game is not postponed again the attendance will be very low. There are plenty of free dates in remaining months.

The league requires games to be re-arranged/played within 6 weeks of the original fixture I believe.
Different Leagues have different rules - so it is what it is, but nothing new.

There's always a chance that a few teams may still be in one or two cup competitions by that stage and cup competitions need to keep moving. We're still in two and a possibility we could make the final of both.
