See they have Lewis Wilson in their ranks, he never really showed his real self whilst with us......or maybe he was just not very good anyway!!

Will have to follow this game on Radio Diamonds.

I was disappointed yesterday that the Cambridge twitter feed was minimal (H/T and F/T scores only) as in recent games it has been quite amusing and with their opponents being Moneyscum there would have been plenty of opportunity for some very creative comments.

Lewis Wilson has generally been starting for them this season. However they recently signed Jack Vasey from Royston Town and he replaced Lewis, who was not fully fit and on the bench last Saturday, and Vasey went on to score the equaliser.

It will be interesting to see if Vasey and Ryan Sharman continue up front for City tonight. Sharman who scored in 10 consecutive league matches - a club record - is in something of a goal drought having not scored in the last two matches. Let’s see this continue tonight! :good:

I bloody love this club, never felt so much positivity about us! What a great group of players we have this season, they look like they're really close this year. Every single player can be proud of our recent form and hopefully we can keep this going until the end of the season!

Great/excellent performance from the lads, a ace 2-0 win, nice to see us on top of the league, with Moneyfields lost 3-2.

Great togetherness in the team tonight the lads encouraging and working hard for each other.
We looked a quality side with some strong individual performances against a good footballing team. The three at the back is really allowing us to dominate the middle of the park and enabling our wide boys to perform.
Could even hear the lads encouraging each other and Liam was a happy man !
