Excellent preview again. Come on team let's get that long awaited home league win. It seems ages since we destroyed Fleet and with a big game coming up we could do with a morale boosting 3 points.

I think Darryl Smith ought to start tonight. He has scored 6 goals in 7 starts and I feel he may have been disappointed to not have started recently. Having not seen the previous two matches I won’t speculate on who should make way for him.
A great opportunity to put Barton to the sword tonight and get our season back on track.

A must win.
A good opportunity to go 3 at the back as well

I'd agree and play Smith up front with Nabil. I'd also start Farrell and Bell-Toxtl in the middle.Trek wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 7:35 am I think Darryl Smith ought to start tonight. Seeing that Barton rovers league position is fifth bottom, we have to win tonight. We've failed to win the last three league home matches, so we're due a win. We are the lowest conceeders in the league, so it shows that the defence is doing it's job, we need to started putting the ball in the net. Like trek has mentioned, smith should start tonight and also bell-toxtle and maybe there's an option to try Westwood on the right side of midfield. Failure to win tonight will start to build more pressure on the management, with undefeated moneyfields next up at home.

Huge step forward tonight. Let's hope we can crack on from here rather than taken another 2 steps back in a week and a half.
Important win as teams above slipped up. Hayes beat HW 6-1 away - result of the night. Kempston lost heavily to Bedford as well. A few games in hand still to be played by others but that 2nd spot is slowly coming back into view.
