Re: 2010/11 entrance fees
If we're in such a bad financial position to have to need to raise the prices to £17 rather than £14 then why aren't we selling Tomlin for £150k? I don't want to start a massive argument I just want to make the point. But the price of a seat was only raised a £1 to £17. Are you suggesting he should...

Re: 2010/11 entrance fees
Now I'm really disturbed by this Directive. I really don't understand the Conference board, I really don't. But Pigman has already admitted that for personal reasons he wouldn't have many many of the fixtures in the first couple of months. I fail to see what else the Club could have done. They had ...

Re: MK Dons thread
Results in pre-season count for nothing and are no guide to what will happen in league matches. That's why I now don't bother wasting my precious time watching these matches and thoroughly enjoyed my ride on my bike this afternoon. Personally not surprised we got thumped by a team, two divisions hig...

Re: 2010/11 entrance fees
I'd still like to understand the Conference's reasoning for bringing in this measure when the Football League doesn't see it as necessary. Tony, you appear to have the ear of the Club. Could I ask that you approach Helen for clarification of the Conference's reasoning for this regulation and then u...

Re: 2010/11 entrance fees
Give Helen and the other people running our Club credit, Robin. If this is what they been told by the powers that be at the Conference I assume that they have looked at the wording in detail then we should accept it IMHO. A lot of clubs run membership schemes whereby they can charge home fans less t...

Re: League enforce entrance fees!
I think you've completely dismissed his point in favour of a conspiracy theory. We, along with FGR, are the only two teams in this division that cannot offer standing for away fans . The rest can, hence they are allow to charge a separate price for standing and sitting. If we could offer both, we w...

Re: 2010/11 entrance fees
I'm sure given yesterday's information on the OWS regarding the new pricing structure the Trust will endeavour to process any new membership without delay in order that fans can present a membership card at the turnstile on the 14th August to obtain the reduced entry fee.

Re: Slightly worried?
You'd think the club would try contacting local businesses for revenue. Maybe they do but I always get the impression the Club have stumbled along on the marketing front even in the Griggs funded days when Airwair were providing the funding. It seems to be that other Conference are far more pro act...
