Re: [ Sat 3rd Sep ] v AFC Hornchurch, KO 3pm FAC1Q HOME
I believe round two brings in the National League North and South, so we could face tough opposition, but still regionalized. No Eastbourne Borough yet.

Re: [ Sat 3rd Sep ] v AFC Hornchurch, KO 3pm FAC1Q HOME
Can't forget the excitement the FA cup generated last season, so lets hope for more of the same. Certainly a winnable game but as always we will have to be at our best and need Oulton to play. I can't make this game, listen to Radio Diamonds or follow on twitter, so will be anxiously looking for res...

Our two home matches have been the highest attendances in our league this season.

I think I am correct in saying that no team has won by more than 2 goals or scored more than 3 in a game.

Good old FA Cup battle. Credit to Sileby who put in a great performance. But in the Cup its winning that counts so its on to Hornchurch. Wembly still beckons.
Terrific to see Nabil get hat trick, that should do him some good. And good also to see Parsons contributing so much.

Troy Johnson the only ex Diamond that played for Sileby on Tuesday v Cogenhoe. Sean McBride played for Cooks.
Sileby unbeaten 2nd in UCL so we could be in for a tough game.

The return of Oulton and Curtis is desperately needed.Three of Diamonds wrote:No complaints about that result, men against boys. Chasetown challenged for every ball, won the vast majority of headers and just ran us off the park.

I've noticed his time at Diamonds seems to have been erased from his Wikipedia page.
Article in yesterdays Guardian does acknowledge his time at R & D.
Probably now the most valuable ex Diamond loanee

Re: [ Sat 13th Aug ] v Newcastle Town, KO 3pm NPL1S AWAY
[We haven't had a finisher that's been good enough for our ambitions since Taylor and Dunkley. As much as I like Alfie he should have scored 50 goals the first season, a great finisher he is not. By that logic Newman should have got 80. And both of them were playing Step 6 football then. At least N...
