Re: A-Z of Diamonds

I can't believe Bastock is only 40. I thought he was older than that, he's been around for ages! Paul Bastock played for the Poppies back in the early 90's and was in their team when they lost 3-1 away to Blackburn Rovers, in the FA Cup third round, back in January 1991 shortly before Kenny...

Re: Best and worse players signed so far this season

Tim Sills has been a bit poor but his height has prove usefull for crosses and corners. I must have blinked and missed that! Given that he played a major part in Wycombe's promotion a few years back, Lewwis Spence has been a major disappointment, closely followed by the aforementioned Sills...

Re: Boxing Day - Weather

A small amount of snow on the covers can be a good thing. However, once the covers are removed then the pitch at Nene Park usually freezes along the South Stand touchline even when other parts may be playable.

With an overnight forecast of minus 5C for Christmas Day/Boxing Day and the daytime forecast for minus 1C I would think that there is zero chance that this fixture will go ahead. Towcester Races have already been cancelled.

Re: R.I.P Dale Roberts

Dale's untimely death seems to have affected the wider football community and is testimony to the respect that many have for him. He seemed to have a real passion for the game and was utterly professional, polite and knew how to behave at all times. My thoughts are with his family and close friends ...

Re: Supporters Trust website...

Surprised that nobody has mentioned Supporters Direct as a useful source of information on Supporters Trusts.

Re: K*ttering tickets

Talk about any excuse for a moan. So you're entitled to moan but no one else can? No wonder this forum is dying on it's feet. Just trying to debate the issue and try to get someone to explain why the need for the word 'Provisional' in the Club statement. It's either all ticket or it isn't. Doesn't ...

Re: K*ttering tickets

its obviously gonna be all ticket So why say provisional all-ticket on the OWS on the web-site? They're putting doubt in people's mind that they might change it with a few days to go. I personally think to make such a fixture all-ticket where the stadium will be no more than 45-50% full is a nonsen...
