Re: Saturday at Oxford
That statement would make sense if the game was to be played today, or even tomorrow, but the paths are clearing all the time, especially after the rain we had last night - the street in Bedfordshire I live in isn't gritted, and was dodgy for a day or two, but now the thaw has set in it's much bette...

Re: Ladak Suspended from Football
I suspect it is aimed at keeping KTFC in the spotlight, using the "no publicity is bad publicity" principle, and the fine will be paid before the next game. Having said that IL seemed to spend more time in the pressbox than the directors box during the games at RR, so it may not impact him...

Re: Best/Worst football moments for you in 2009
Best = Barrow, Salisbury, Luton Away. K*ttering at home. Worst = Ebbsfleet, Forest Green, Northwich Away, all last season. Spot on. Add Workington to the best aswell, going all that way in them conditions and seeing the team put in a professional performance like they did made it well worth time ti...

Re: Saturday at Oxford
Luton have called off their Boxing Day game already. They don't seem to have tried very hard to get the game on, given it's already above freezing in Bedfordshire, and not expected to drop below again for several days - so if they cleared the snow off the pitch it might have a chance of thawing. Per...

That was 2008 ....jimbobjaw wrote:Worst was by far and away Evesham, although the realisation during the rest of the week that Hill had not walked is up there! How he walked off after the final whistle, i honestly thought he would resign or be sacked, so much so we were talking about successors on the way home!

Re: Useful Links
I agree - the focus is on football, and it doesn't seem to suffer from the egos of some of the part-time fans you see on the Conference forum.BartonRaz wrote:Can i just say, the nonleaguefootballlive forums are very good. I know a couple of us are on there anyway but it would be good to see a few more.

Kidderminster Upheaval
I note that Kidderminster have lost their manager today - off to Cheltenham - so we'll be facing them on Monday with a caretaker in charge (or possibly two, as it's rumoured a couple of their senior players will take the caretaker role).
