Re: Slightly worried?
That with just over a month until the new season we still have no shirt sponsor, the photos from the game last night highlighted that fact to me with the blank shirt :? Potential loss of income, I agree, but I guess KC isn't going to give it away for nothing. Didn't West Brom play for a season with...

Re: Huke signs...
I believe that he'll be a regular starter. A good physical player that adds steel to our team.
You need this type of player to succeed in the BSP as Stevenage have prooved.

Re: vuvuzela
I believe there is a ground regulation sign outside the entrance to the South Stand at the PDB end that would, possibly, give the stewards an opportunity to prevent anyone with a vuvuzela gaining entry. ;)wewantourdarbyback wrote:
I'd love to see the regulation that would fall under.

Re: Policing Costs
Bearing in mind the likely police bill, now probably more that £18,000 since it's on a Christmas Bank Holiday, perhaps the Club will now be not quite so keen to maximise the amount of away tickets that they will provide to the Hatters. I would personally limit the amount to 1,000 and tell Luton that...

Re: Max York
Not if they get out of control and get stupid and then get taken as fact , they aren't. Despite the Count's lengthy post nobody was saying that anything was likely to happen to Nene Park. All that I pointed out in my initial post was that Max's father had 'history' with Cambridge City's ground and ...

Re: Max York
I don't suppose for one moment that the guy has offered to pay to have his son professionally trained at a fully professional club. That just wouldn't do would it? Passing interest I suppose :D Let's hope you are right but some of our fans had already pencilled him in as a mid -field starter. Looks...

Interesting connection eh, Robin. ;)Two of Diamonds wrote:I see the conspiracy theorists are at large again.
If Brian York is not Max's dad then we, of course, have nothing to worry about.

Re: Max York
Having heard the story about his dad being a property developer i have to admit i do have slight concerns. Oh dear. I hope it's not the same bloke who was connected with Cambridge City and screwed the club over the sale of their ground at Milton Road. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2007...

Only made his first team debut for Histon against Kettrin in April.
Can't see him making much impact in our first team initially. Must be cheap. :?

Probably have left the U's by the end of October to play for Gainsborough.
