Re: [ Mon 2nd April ] v Bedford Town, KO 3pm ESE HOME

The pitch at Manor Park was bad enough yesterday that it was almost impossible to play rugby - it will be an absolute miracle if Mark Panter manages to get this game on!

Re: [ Sat 31st Mar ] v Beaconsfield Town, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

We're still top, but surely now all the get-out-of-jail-free cards have been used up - it has to be seven wins out of seven between now and the end of the season, unless the chasing pack start losing games. Even if Beaconsfield or H&Y start losing, there's still other clubs right on our tail. Sq...

Re: [ Sat 31st Mar ] v Beaconsfield Town, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

Might this be a good thing? Like Andy said in the interview after Tuesday's match, momentum is everything in sport - after a bit of a rotten run and some good results for Beaconsfield, might a break even things out a little bit?

Re: Potential win at Beaconsfield

Actually, you know what, I think we're going to lose all of our games between now and the end of the season and there's no way we'll be promoted as champions...

Re: [ Tue 27th Mar ] v Uxbridge FC, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

Worringly, control of the league is now in Beaconsfield's hands. Even if we beat them on Saturday, if they win every game (and get some good scores on the way to help with GD) they can win the title even if we win everything we play now. If Beaconsfield win it's more or less all over for the league...

Re: [ Sat 24th March ] v Hartley Wintney, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

Our traditional winter bottle-job seems to have been pushed back to March because of the weather, then? At the start of the month we were in a decent position to put on hand on the trophy, and as things look now I'd expect us to get dragged down into the playoffs and lose out on promotion in a seas...

Is there any news on Jack's injury? I've heard it was a hamstring problem, but whenever he takes a knock my first worry is "Has his knee gone again?"

Re: [ Tue 20th Mar ] v Hayes & Yeading Utd, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

The Hayes players were simply more on it tonight - I don't think we won many second balls until the last fifteen, and players who would usually tear past defenders were being stopped and having the ball pinched every time. Not a great day at the races, but we're still five points ahead on the same n...
