Re: [ Tue 24th Apr ] v Aylesbury FC, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

I can't speak for Hayden Road but Manor Park was rock-hard on sunday during the rugby - I think the rain will probably be good for the pitch, it's not really hammered down enough to make it a big worry. Then again, what do I know about groundskeeping?

Anyone of the top six could find themselves in the play off lottery, which makes the midweek games particularly interesting. Beaconsfield v AFC Dunstable........Will nerves get the better of the Rams? can the OD's do us a favour ? Kempston v Hartley Wintney.........I have always said what a great p...

It's must-win for both of us for now then, maybe Beaconsfield will start feeling the pressure now? I didn't think we would be able to snatch the title from Beaconsfield at the death, but after they mucked it up today, perhaps luck is on our side!

Beaconsfield 0 - 1 Hayes & Yeading at the time of writing! Squeaky bum time!

Re: [ Tue 17th Apr ] v AFC Dunstable, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

Are there any remaining games for Beaconsfield that look like banana skins? If I've done my maths right they need to lose and draw once, and for us to win every game, to go up as champions.

Re: [ Tue 10th Apr ] v Bedford Town, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

That, surely, is the league title gone. I've not been able to come to any of the games since Hayes & Yeading and Uxbridge, but listening in on Radio Diamonds it sounded as if in the first half we could have had half a dozen goals, and in the second half we kept missing glorious chances. Against ...

Pitch inspection at four o'clock. The sun's come out a little bit in Rushden but I don't think it'll be enough to get this game on.

Re: [ Sat 7th Apr ] v Northwood FC, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

That's probably the title gone today. Beaconsfield have a game in hand and I can't see anyone beating them. I can't even see how we're going to win on Tuesday. It hurts after how well the rest of the season has been, but I think we're probably going out in the playoff semis.

Interesting League Table!

I just checked the league table on the footballwebpages website, and there seems to have been a bit of fixture congestion...

Does Basford's chairman have deep pockets?
