Re: royston
Much prefer a trip to Royston than that dump we went to on Tuesday. It must be the tattiest ground in the League.

Play off Opponents
Royston beat Aylesbury 3-2 tonight. So as things stand at the moment we go to Hertfordshire next week, but of course a lot can happen on saturday. I cannot see us beating Godalming let alone expecting St Ives to slip up at North Greenford. Ploppies won 7-0 tonight so have boosted their GD, overtakin...

Just been looking at form guide and Godalming are unbeaten in their last 10 away games.

A really tough warm up for the play offs. On current performances we will struggle to win this one.

Re: [ Tue 19th Apr ] v Egham Town, KO 7:45pm SL1DC AWAY
If we adopt attitude that we don't want to win play offs then why have we been bothering to play at all. Gaining promotion is the purpose of all football (other than winning the title outright of course). Having said that, the prospect of Northern League footie is horrendous so if we were to fail in...

Re: 5th May - Hillier Cup Final
Don't like the idea of playing pre season as both teams would just be treating it as run out, like the Chris Ruff Cup at Hayden Road. Its place is at the end of the current season but should not have been scheduled until after the play offs and I am not mad on it being played at a near empty Sixfiel...

Re: Today's matches
Two wins for us in remaining games and three draws for Royston will put us in second place.
Realistically I think we will finish third.

Re: Tomorrows games.
That's no surprise with their pitch being as it is. Tuesday/Thursday for both of them coming up.Formic wrote:Aylesbury against Royston is off.
I just hope that our game is on today.

Tomorrows games.
If Aylesbury fail to beat Royston, Diamonds are assured of top five finish. If Kings Langley beat Fleet any slim hopes of Diamonds winning League will go. St Ives v Barton should be comfortable home win. Godalming v Northwood Bedford v CSP Both of the above will finally see off any hopes for those t...

Re: [ Sat 16th Apr ] v Egham Town, KO 3pm SL1DC AWAY
If game where to be postponed tomorrow, and that's a big If, we could play them on Monday evening. That would even it up for Ploppies as they have a game on Monday v Redditch.
