Re: FGR Ironic

I don't know why, I thought Stevenage had got ten at one point.

Re: AFCRD No1 Shirt

I just had a thought about this. If you travel through France or Germany, as yo get to the outskirts of a town, there's a town name sign.. Hildesheim or Reutlingen or Cavalaire-sur-mer or whatever. As you leave the town, you see an identical sign, but with a red diagonal line through it. If we lose ...

Club IT Help!

I don't know who to ask about this, but I did ask last time I actually managed to get to a game, but what was supposed to have been done wasn't done, it seems! Could whoever it is who is responsible for the Official website, and specifically the members' area, please remind me what my username and p...

Re: AFC RUSHDEN AND DIAMONDS GOLF DAY

I would love to have played in this at my old Golf Club, but sadly I won't be able to, as I am in Vienna that weekend at my nephew's wedding.

I'm probably one of the few who would find a weekday easier than a weekend - especially a Sunday!

Re: WORLD CUP

How very prescient of you!

What a boring match, compared with the previous semi-final, as well.

I was rooting for Argentina, because Messi deserves a World Cup medal... and it also helps with a quiz question I'm trying to devise!

In the Final? Vorwaerts, Deutschland!

Scudamore Endorses Diamonds!

New Premier League "B" League approaching - and Scudamore, the EPL CEO, says we can apply! Scudamore insisted that the new league would have no impact on the Football League or its structure. "Having been chief executive of the Football League, I believe in the pyramid. If you set up ...

Re: after the last few days....

I rarely chip in on this forum these days, because I only rarely attended the D&D in the first season for reasons which most people know about (and the early part of this season has had to suffer while I settle in to my new job and new home and new town), but following this thread I think its cl...

Re: Those of you who followed the "old" club.....

I think her husband's name was Gary?

Perhaps Dave Albon, as Club Secretary, could contact the family and offer all our condolences?

She was a great servant of the old club, and a good laugh as well. She handled difficult situations with humour and firmness in equal measure. A great loss.

Re: Those of you who followed the "old" club.....

I can't believe it. I was in touch with her on Facebook for ages and hadn't heard from her for a while. So sad. She was a real staunch Scot with a wicked sense of humour.

Anyone know how it happened that she died so young? Anyone in touch with her family?

Re: Northants Telegraph

Mackem Cobbler, there was a time, at least one season, when Diamonds were the top team in the County - and I'm not meaning just by fluke on points or goal difference... and the position never changed! It was always Cobblers, Cobblers, Cobblers, K*ttering, K*ttering, Cobblers, Cobblers, Cobblers, Bra...
