Re: JUSTINS CRY FOR HELP

Good ideas by all - what's needed now is feedback on how viable these ideas are and whether or not they can be implemented. Without resolution on each idea we'll constantly be wondering why nothing is being done. Also as a last point, any business has to invest to progress and this doesn't necessari...

Re: JUSTINS CRY FOR HELP

Sorry, but if anyone thinks adults should be paying less than £15 to watch football at Nene Park they've lost their mind. If we were playing at Hayden Road or somewhere as barbaric (for BSP level) and the team was shite, then i'd agree, but it's not the case. We've got the best facilities in the le...

Re: JUSTINS CRY FOR HELP

Zippy - my R&D life story reads exactly the same as yours, I chuckled away at your story about drumming up support in your workplace but usually met with sympathetic smiles! I now live in Derby and for many years draped my scarf around my monitor and wore me diamonds shirt on casual dress says. ...

Re: Football Manager 2011

FM 10 related...... Been playing these games for years and decided a couple of months ago to start a new campaign on FY10. Started with R&D but with fictional names to try and stop me buying all the same players!! Well bugger me if i haven't won back to back promotions all the way to the premier...

Re: The future fans

Your right, i admit, i am more of voyeur than a poster. Note to self: must do better  I'm not around much these days I'm afraid and attend only rarely, as much as it pains. Been a fan since the beginning and was once a hardcore fan, but sadly location, generally growing up and responsibility p...

Re: The future fans

Currently with only a football club to work with all our concerns and any subsequent discounts/offers/benefits, are based on somehow reducing the price of attending a game. I like the commercial focus that is being discussed around bringing in new business/events. What this opens up is not reducing ...

Re: Ilkeston Town

I was at Derby Uni when this fixture was on and caught the bus over to Ilkeston to watch it. I remember some poor diamionds fan getting whacked in the face from a clearance.

I now live about 5 miles away from this place. never been back tho.

Re: Will we see him back again??

If he can fit in with the wage restrictions then i'd like to see him back. With JEMS work ethic and the hindsight that he wish he'd never left, he could put in a good shift for a promotion push. He'd be as good if not better than anyone else we could bring in for same kind of wages, and when playing...
