Re: Sir Keir Starmer visits Hayden Road

Lets put this in simple terms. Football - working class and therefore socialist so no one around Hayden road is likley to vote Tory. Rugby - Middle Class and therefore Tory and Liberals would be all over us if we were a Rugby Club as more likely to vote for them. Fishing - i do like the thinking of ...

Re: Sir Keir Starmer visits Hayden Road

Well Hayden road was the Home of the Russians the nickname of Rushden Town so keeping the red flag flying is apt.

Re: BOXING DAY [ Tue 26th Dec ] v Harborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME

Biggles stop trying to ban him it’s embarrassing! Everyone’s hurting now after two seasons of getting beat every week so take m...

Re: BOXING DAY [ Tue 26th Dec ] v Harborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME

Come on, The things written by Adrian show he (could be a She) knows little about the club, not only could he or she talk to our Chairman at a match but also could use the members only forum and start a chat and ask questions as all of us members can. So unless the powers that be actually know who t...

Re: [ Sat 23rd Dec ] v Sporting Khalsa, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

Some hope of some of our fans actually taking note of the interview with Setch, the realities of Football post Covid, Cost of living Crisis, etc. All costs have risen by loads, football clubs are not imune to these costs, Good players demanding £500 a week and top players £700 a week. On our model o...

Re: Kings Lynn in trouble

The Boxing day sales are approaching, the annual post xmas clear out from teams who are around midtable whose budgets are not sustainable any more as the dream of promotion is over.

Hope we have saved up for the Xmas sales as we may get that Striker we crave

Re: [ Sat 16th Dec ] v Spalding Utd, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME

To mess up this new club in a short space of time is shameful, I'd rather we started a new club in the UCL again so the absolute embarrassment of the past 2 years is wiped away. I feel bad for the elderly fans who supported this new club and have sadly passed, they wouldn't have predicted it could ...

Re: [ Sat 11th Nov ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

Doom and gloom eh, well sorry you can score goals from midfield or even center backs have been know to score goals. That elusive proven striker that everybody is looking for, Corby took back Edge because they could not find another striker willing to sign for the money they have available, also if w...

Re: [ Sat 11th Nov ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

Edge going back to Corby not surprising given that Gary Setchell was struggling to sign a new striker, so he goes back to the one he ditched.
If we want a striker it looks like we have to find that elusive Rainbow with the crock of gold, so getting searching people.
