Re: [ Sat 21st Apr ] v Cambridge City, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

Six of the top seven in action against each other on saturday.

Cambridge City 5th v AFCRD 2nd
Beaconsfield 1st v Hayes 4th
Bedford 7th v Dunstable 6th

Hartley have much easier match away to Ashford.

Dunstable look most likely to secure the 6th place, but Bedford are having a very good late run.

Re: Thursday nights games

Hartley win 2-0 despite their twitter earlier giving Fleet an equalizer. Beaconsfield cruising. for a short while tonight things were looking dodgy for Beaconsfield and Hartley and giving me some anxious moments but normal service finally resumed. So its on to Saturday and we just have to do our stu...

Thursday nights games

Some important games tonight:
AFC Dunstable v Barton
Aylesbury v Beaconsfield
Hartley v Fleet
Hanwell v Bedford
Moneyfields v Arlsey

It would be good for Beaconsfield and Hartley to drop some points, but I wont be putting any money on that happening.

Re: [ Sat 21st Apr ] v Cambridge City, KO 3pm ESE AWAY

Cambridge unbeaten in 9 now, their best run since Nov/Dec 2012. Tonights win secured their place in the play offs.
Five of the top six now confirmed.

Beaconsfield, AFCRD, Hayes, Hartley and Cambridge.......all the right teams but not necessarily in that order!

Re: Ben Heath NLP Award

I can understand why some people may have voted for Ben Farrell as MOTM last night, but had it not been for Ben Heath making two terrific saves prior to the penalty we would have probably lost. Make sure you get those votes in to the NLP. The lad deserves some recognition for what he has achieved th...

Re: [ Tue 17th Apr ] v AFC Dunstable, KO 7:45pm ESE HOME

We need six points to prevent Hartley going above us and they have a comparatively easy run in, although away to Kempston won't be easy. A win on Saturday v Cambridge could mean promotion next Tuesday. As for being champions we need Beaconsfield to drop four points, they have home games v Hayes and ...

Re: [ Sat 14th Apr ] v Aylesbury Utd, KO 3pm ESE HOME

When Cambridge were trailing 0-2 their Twitter feed described the Dunstable centre backs as higher than the Empire State building and they were understandably winning everything. But Cambridge obviously found a way to counteract that. So we need to work on that from the start and not play into their...

Re: Step 4 - 3rd Place Promotion best PPG document

Of all the clubs challenging to be the 19th promoted club by virtue of their points per game record only eight currently have a ppg of more than 2.0. In the Evo Stik North, there are South Shields (2.38) Scarborough (2.18) and Hyde (2.16) but two of them will get automatic promotion anyway. In the E...
