Re: New Ground Name

Nene Park is in the past, the new ground is the Future. Normally ground are named due to location of where they are built or surroundings, not sure whats the name of the old Farm the land will come from but across the way its Lancaster Farm and its Duchy of Lancaster Land, so it could be Lancaster ...

Re: Joel Gyasi

Gutted. If they're splashing the cash to get him I can't blame him for following the money, but as one of the best players we've seen in a Diamonds shirt it'll be very hard to replace him. That said, let's leave the door open if he ever wants to return. Any ideas on who would fill in his spot?

Re: Its that time again

I'd be worried if Gyasi didn't re-sign; he was one of the best players last season, and you'd have to go quite a way to find someone with his ability on the ball at this level.

If he stays I'll pay for all his drinks for the season!

Re: Its that time again

If there are up to four leaving then I could probably guess who they will be. Won't say who I think they are out of respect for those players. Popular player returning, got an inkling of who it could be. Gearing? I seem to remember he played for a team in this division before he joined Diamonds in ...

Re: Wembley sale..what do you think

Even if the offer went through, we'd probably never see a penny of it, but all the FA Execs would have new cars, I'm sure. Maybe it's because while I was growing up, national games were played all around the country, but I don't have a huge amount of fondness for Wembley. If it raises money to impro...

What would actually need to be done? Is it likely to be a question of spending a lot of money or is it just volunteer hours required?

Big thanks to everyone who helped out, played, or came to watch the matches today - two really dramatic games of football and most importantly, loads of money raised for some very good causes! Looking forward to seeing how much we raised on the day!

Re: Next Season - Central League Premier

The Barwell replay was our first ever 1,000+ attendance at the Woof and Quack if I remember correctly? I doubt we'd see that attendance in a league game, but it would be good to get our own back on them!

K*ttering twice a year, plus cup competitions...that does sound tasty!

Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed and pray for some divine inspiration for Egham tomorrow and Marlow saturday to give us a chance at adding something to the trophy cabinet - I'm already looking forward to K*ttering, daventry and corby next year! Don't get too excited. K*ttering yes (if t...
