Just seen the 2 late goals from last night (had missed them as I had to leave to catch the last train home). How many mistakes? especially the winner!!!

Nothing to show from another game against fairly average opposition. Was mostly us upto the goal but then we just allowed them onto us. Proper assessment after 10 games but we are a bit short at the moment. Disappointing to concede.l late goals again.

Great to get the 3 points, thoroughly deserved. Lye look a bit like us last year (at the beginning of the season). Some young players and going to struggle to score goals. Probably the worst penalty shoot out I have ever seen but who cares. Thought we were the better team first half, Corby the better second half and then we shaded extra time. Fully deserved. What a goal too!!!!

Walsall Wood really throwing the cash around. Don’t get it, around 100 fans per game and a dump of a ground. Thousands needed to bring that ground upto scratch but maybe that’s part of the plan.

The support was amazing, everywhere you looked there were Rushden fans. It was like the games of old. Only Corby and ourselves have this type of away support, I’m sure clubs in our league would like us to stay.

2 teams get relegated, one has finished bottom and another has volunteered!!! Surely!
