We definitely need a left back.... never over laps or an option to be set.
I blame the parents.

Re: [ Tue 17th Oct ] v Marlow FC, KO 7:45pm ESE AWAY

How did Bunts play last night? From the games I've seen in the past year I don't think he'd be in my preferred midfield pairing. Farrell is an absolute must in this team for me, alongside Curtis/Bell-Toxtle. Had another decent game, he's probably playing because for most of the past 4 seasons he's ...

Re: [ Tue 17th Oct ] v Marlow FC, KO 7:45pm ESE AWAY

Well if the was any debate about the penalty it's now been cleared up, just watched the highlights and the didn't appear to be a single Marlow player appeal for it when he fell over, they only got excited when a free kick was given as his initial flop forward was inside the area (I think) hard to te...

Re: [ Tue 17th Oct ] v Marlow FC, KO 7:45pm ESE AWAY

I guess my views were tainted by the first 15 minutes of the game, when there were the two gilt-edged chances for the hosts, one just requiring an alert forward to deflect it home, and the other a simple chance that looked easier to score - and very little threat from us going forwards - something ...

Re: [ Tue 17th Oct ] v Marlow FC, KO 7:45pm ESE AWAY

I also was surprised at Treks comments but as ever Brownie has saved me from writing a long response. Very early on in the game in the RD commentary I stated that Marlows defence looked extremely vulnerable, especially the keeper, and so it proved. The only period we looked in danger was the first ...

Re: [ Tue 17th Oct ] v Marlow FC, KO 7:45pm ESE AWAY

Guess it's why we all love the game, I stood very close to Formic for most of the 90 minutes yet it would appear watched a different game and that statement is not a critical one just the way it often is with football. For me they were not a bad side going forward but bloody dreadful at the back. Th...

Re: [ Tue 3rd Oct ] v St Neots Town FC, KO 7:45pm SLCC HOME

With the competition regionalised our potential opponents are likely to be one of the following: K*ttering, Biggleswade, Royston, Hitchin from the Premier Division or AFC Dunstable, Cambridge City or Kempston from our division. Is this the first time one of your predictions has come true? Only on t...

As something of a form guide Kidsgrove are playing Corby this evening.
Corby beat them 2-1, see Ant Malbon is still there scoring goals for them, keep him in check we probably win the game.

Hopefully everyone is on the case traffic wise especially those coming from the west i.e. M1, it's still shut in both directions between 14 & 15 surrounding roads not good. Worst I've seen is a mate left Bedford this morning and got to Newport Pagnell services 4 1/2 hours later.
