Re: [ Fri 31st August ] v Tamworth FC, KO 7:45pm ESPC HOME

Like most I enjoyed that, decent game with plenty of good football played, healthy crowd and some away fans for a change to add to the atmosphere. Did look like we were heading for our 3rd “didn’t deserve to loose that” of the season but persistence paid off eventually. Not many would argue that we ...

Re: [ Mon 25th Aug ] v St Neots Town, KO 3pm ESPC AWAY

Interesting article in Hunts Post where he refers to it. Doesn't name names though. https://www.huntspost.co.uk/sport/football/clements-sets-sights-on-as-many-as-five-new-attacking-signings-1-5669509 That's 10 now then as the original 9 listed by squeezecambridge were Elliot Sandy (Striker Corby), ...

Re: [ Mon 25th Aug ] v St Neots Town, KO 3pm ESPC AWAY

The ‘squeezefootball’ Twitter account that covers football in Cambridgeshire tweeted last night to say that St Neots have put 7-day approaches in for numerous players, one of whom is Tom Lorraine. 9 players on the alleged list, also includes Elliot Sandy. It’s some admission by the manager when aft...

Re: Name for the new bar

I don't take the PC bit Brownie the 12th man is an addition to 11 other men. As men only are allowed to play in the first team then there's no requirement to make it both sexes. I wonder what the bar is called at Personchester United  ,There is obviously no requirement on any level to have ...

Re: Name for the new bar

It doesn't need a name. Agree, If it was ours alone then it would be an idea to name it but given it's not by the time everyone has gone round the houses trying to find something that is natural it ends up as something that means little or nothing to either Club. The reference to 19th hole not that...

Re: Next Season - Central League Premier

Betway have released odds for the Southern Central Premier next season. They have us 7/1 third favourite for the title, only slightly longer odds than K*ttering and King’s Lynn. I’ll be staggered if we finish that high. https://sports.betway.com/en/sports/evt/2737237 At the very least that appears ...
